Happy New Year!

Happy New to you all, I hope you had a wonderful time over Christmas and New Year.

As you may have noticed, my walking/photography trips have been somewhat limited over the last few months. The reason behind this is Cleo has developed a heart condition, we noticed while we were up in Sutherland back in November that she was struggling on any uphill sections. The vet has found that she has a heart murmur, which is causing her to struggle with long/uphill walks. At her age, almost 15, we've decided that the best way forward for her is to let her enjoy what time she has with us. She still loves going out for a walk and playing, but about a mile on flat terrain is all she can manage. We are not sure how much longer she'll be with us, could be weeks or months, but whatever it turns out she'll be the most loved dog in the world.

We do have lots of things planned for 2023 but these are on hold until we see how things play out, the only definite one at the moment is our annual trip to Skye next month. Please bear with me, there will be plenty of photos and videos coming up throughout the year even if they are more 'local' ones.

Thanks for reading.
